The main building crane for Transformers is now removed from the park and lots of exterior theming projects have begun massively, on three of the four sides columns with lights and speakers are part of the building now and painting is progressing with a bar-code and little details added to the exterior props, granted we don’t think a secret quasi-government organization would have a bar-code AND their name on the building but then again we’re just civilians. As part of a bonus we have some Mardi Gras prep work and merchandise to conclude the report.

I spent the day resort hopping around the monorail loop to see what’s new to me at Polynesian Resort, Contemporary Resort, and the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. There were tons to see especially different views that most people don’t always photograph of the DVC villas coming to the Grand Floridian. These photos were taken from the ground and aboard the resort watercraft.

Universal Studios is back to the slow season and yet the crowds have not necessarily left. During our round trip of the park we saw plenty of crowds at different attractions, especially around Minion Mayhem. There is plenty of stuff going on around Amity and the Simpsons as well as Transformers.

Limited Time Magic kicked off on December 30 featuring a something unique and different for each week of the year and the First of the 52 different events is “Bling in the New Year.” This offering is essentially an enhanced Club 626. Normally Club 626 features various disney characters dancing with the families to the hit songs of today but at Bling in the New Year you can party like its 11 p.m. New Year’s Eve. Characters featured include Chip, Dale, Stitch as well as some other special guests along with two stilt walkers.
